I'm in love -- now what?

I've met a wonderful guy and want him to be my steady lover. I think he feels the same way about me, but I'm really insecure about expressing my feelings, and I think he's the same way. How did those of you who are faithful and committed go about it? We are both "mature" guys who were straight for most of our lives and I think that's part of our problem.

I keep having these fantasies, but I'm afraid they'll drive him away. I envision taking him out for a romantic dinner, taking him back to my place (or his), stripping down to our thongs, doing all our favorite stuff, like kissing and snuggling and nipple play. Then bringing the conversation around to how he's the only guy I want -- and if he responds, I spring the big move on him. I have 2 rings or necklaces or bracelets or some kind of symbol of our love, and I get down on my knees like I'm proposing to him and tell him I love him and ask him to be my boyfriend or whatever the right word is. Of course, in my fantasy he says yes and we kiss and strip and go to bed and cockrub until we come, all the while saying "I love you" to each other.

Am I being silly, or can this possibly work? How did you couples out there go about it? What advice can you offer? I don't want to ruin a good thing, but I also think I need to take it to the next level. Please help.

Be yourself!! Don't treat him like a woman and don't allow him to treat you like a woman. Just be yourselves M2M and let the MASCULINITY flow not the FEMINITY.

The fantasy of getting down on your knees and giving him a ring is kinda corny. Go out for dinner or go to a movie. Go to your place or his place and just let the M2M happen NATURALLY. Don't try to force it because forced relationships never work.

Just be two masculine men in love. No top/bottom and no submisiveness. Just be EQUALS!! You don't have any roles to play. All you have to do is just be your MASCULINE self and allow him to be the SAME.
