Thank you Rm.

We've discussed this issue many times -- for example in the early Warriors Speak post Frottage is not a fetish, and later again in a post from a college student titled Not a fetish -- but it's useful to revisit this question because of course new people come to the Alliance daily.

And of course because these analist calumnies continue -- and for a reason.

As Rm says, "Penis to penis contact is purposefully and grossly misunderstood by the analists as a means to discredit the frot movement."

But they're wrong and they will not succeed.

First of all, we have a discussion of fetish on our Definitions page:

Fetish

An obsessive sexual interest in a non-genital body part, such as the foot, or in a non-human substance, such as latex.

Periodically, analists claim that Frot is a fetish.

It's not.

Frot, like penile-vaginal intercourse, is genital-genital sex.

Only if one is willing to assert that the way human beings are conceived is a fetish, can one also assert that Frot is a fetish.

Anal penetration, on the other hand, fulfills the definition of a fetish.

"Men into anal" display an obsessive interest in not one but two non-genital body parts: the anus and the rectum.

No matter how you cut it, that's a fetish, and an odd one, for it defines two of the body's organs of fecal excretion as the ultimate objects of sexual desire.

So: putting your penis in a hole full of fecal material is a fetish.

Treating your anus like a vagina is a fetish.

Engaging in penile-penile sex -- Frot -- is not.

So Frot is not a fetish, and to assert that it is, is just silliness.

Now, Rm is bringing up another very important point:

As we know phallic sex involving mutual contact and the wholeness of the body is not a fetish! A relationship based on equality, fidelity, honor cannot possibly be described as fetishism!

Right.

Values which are widely, indeed virtually universally, held by human beings cannot be denigrated as fetishes.

For example, most men find curvaceous women sexually attractive.

We don't say of a such men that they have a "curvaceous woman fetish."

We understand that it's common for men to be attracted to women who exhibit well-proportioned feminine physical characteristics, almost certainly because they are associated in the male mind with fertility and the ability to bear healthy children.

Similarly, as we discussed in the recent posts holding and being held, rubbing cocks and enjoying male pleasure and in Go shirtless: In support of a brother!, it's natural and normal for guys to be attracted to Masculine, Muscular, Strong, Aggressive, MEN.

Why?

Because that's the Warrior archetype.

And just as a Man wants a Woman who can bear him children, so he wants a Man who can fight by his side and be his Heroic friend.

For saying this, by the way, I was accused recently of "fetishing warriors."

Can you "fetish warriors?"

NO.

Because Warrior values are part of the common heritage of the human race.

As Rm says, "equality, fidelity, honor."

A fetish by definition is something odd and abnormal.

MASCULINITY, STRENGTH, FIGHTING SPIRIT, COURAGE, FIDELITY, HONOR, and even EQUALITY are universally admired MANLY VIRTUES.

And those are what we extol.

What about drag and effeminacy -- are those fetishes?

Of course!

Can a person "fetish femmys?"

Oh yeah!

And that's what's going on.

Rm:

That's exactly right.

Wanting a man who will fight by your side and be your Warrior Brother and Heroic friend, is very different from the boytoy bottombitch mentality created by the analists.

So: FROT IS SEX.

It is true male-male sexual intercourse.

And the values which flow from a male-male sexual practice predicated upon Frot -- equality, mutuality, strength, honor, Masculine friendship and Warrior brotherhood -- are universal human values.

And we must never stop saying so.
