Thank you Warrior Brian.

Guys, Brian says,

although there is no physical community, in that time I have developed a real sense of belonging, I really feel like I have come home, I have arrived, I belong, with you and all the other Warriors of the Alliance, THIS IS MY COMMUNITY.

Why does Brian feel that "THIS IS MY COMMUNITY"?

Because he's WORKED to make it his community.

He's posted -- at least eleven original posts, plus replies to the posts of other Warriors.

He's tithed -- faithfully and regularly.

And he's stayed in tight communication with me.

Brian has WORKED to make the Alliance his community.

And he's succeeded.

Far too few of you do that.

And then you wonder why you're alone.

It's not mysterious.

Very often when guys write to me about their loneliness, I say, This is like anything else in life --

The more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it.

Everyone recognizes that when it comes to a job or a career.

They know that to succeed, they have to work at it.

But with Love, and with the Webs of Warrior relationship -- Warriorhood -- we speak of here, somehow most of you expect it to just fall into your lap.

Dream on.

Given the terrible history of repression, suppression, and persecution suffered by Men and by Men who Love Men over the last century and more, the idea that you're going to find your true love -- by doing nothing -- is absurd.

As I said in my last fund-raising post,

Your problems can only be solved through cultural change and communal action.

And that's the TRUTH!

If it weren't, I'd tell you.

But it is.

Brian knows it's the truth, because communal action is what Brian has invested in.

And it's paid off for him --

I have developed a real sense of belonging, I really feel like I have come home, I have arrived, I belong, with you and all the other Warriors of the Alliance, THIS IS MY COMMUNITY.

Very few of you can say the same -- because you HAVEN'T DONE what's necessary to have a community.

And until you do, you'll remain as you are now -- isolated and lonely, lost in an anomic universe.

That's very destructive.

Yet there's no need for it.

Come in from the cold.

Come in to the warmth of Warriorhood.

I imagine few of you remember that in Agoge III: The Longing for Masculinity -- good title, huh? -- and doesn't it apply to you?

Isn't that what you long for?

I imagine few of you remember that in Agoge III: The Longing for Masculinity, we quoted the great Greek poet Pindar, who, in a love poem to a guy named Theoxenos, spoke of those who "toil compulsively for money," and are "carried in service to an utterly cold path."

"carried in service to an utterly cold path," according to Wm Race, editor of the Loeb Pindar, means "devoted exclusively to heterosexual love." (Pindar, Vol II, 353)

Which in our society is what you're supposed to be.

You're supposed to toil compulsively for money, and to be devoted exclusively to heterosexuality.

THROW OFF THOSE CHAINS!

Don't be shackled by the false gods of money and sexual orientation and heterosexualization -- THROW OFF YOUR CHAINS!

Listen to your Feelings.

Be True to your Dreams.

You know what you want.

To make LOVE as MEN -- not as the heterosexualized puppets of a system which at its heart despises Men and Masculinity.

Take back your LIFE.

All you need do is ACT.

Take Action.

The way Brian has.

And it'll all fall into place for you.

Do you want to spend the rest of your life in service to an utterly cold path?

And then be lowered into the unrelenting cold of the grave?

Don't do that.

Do as Brian has done.

FIGHT BACK!

SAVE YOUR LIFE!

And spend the rest of your life in the Warmth of Warriorhood.
