WARRIOR NAKED WRESTLER

Naked Wrestler

Total Masculinity

11-18-09

Here's a good wrestling pic.

I remember being so apprehensive about reaching through the crotch as a wrestler in college.

I was REALLY self conscious about it.

We were forced to learn and practice these moves. Reaching through the crotch is usually a counter-move....usually it's a counter to a takedown attempt.

But to be a complete wrestler, you have to lose your fear of the the other man, right down to reaching in to his (what we now call) private area. However, as we learned wrestling LONG before the "Political Correctness" / Feminist intrusion into male-male wrestling, and the general denial of male-ness, it's not private at all in a legitimate wrestling match.

Complete wrestlers learn to have respect for the other man's balls and cock while asserting themselves totally in the wrestling match, by reaching through the crotch to control their man. It's just part of the Hip Control that was drilled into us.

Reaching for the man-package of your opponent in a wrestling match is a giant leap for a young male in the experience of wrestling and male aggression.

The brief few seconds of holding a mans testicles, in the pandemonium and aggression of a furious wrestling match is still, for me, one of the greatest male phenomena a man can experience.

(It is just one of hundreds of moves and holds, of course. It's not an obsession. However, wrestling makes a man very aware of his balls, and the balls of his opponent. Testicles are tender, and they are THE source of masculinity and male aggression experienced in the wrestling match.) And when you have to, as a wrestler, put a hand around the ball sack or complete man-package of your opponent to maintain position and control, it's just part of the sport.

It was for me in college wrestling, surreal AND totally real at the same time. And, unfortunately, because of the homo-phobia of the 1980's when I went to college, we wrestlers never talked at all about the sensation of "ball grabbing" in wrestling. It was an UN-subject. Wrestlers simply learned the moves: deep crotch, crotch lift, butt drag. We learned the moves, by pairing up with other shirtless wrestlers in the sweaty wrestling room.

We drilled the moves over and over and over. Changed positions and drilled and drilled some more. And it DID give me a man-boner some times, if I lost control of my own young penis; it was an age of totally raging hormones and testosterone and it could not be helped. At times the young man I'd be wrestling was sporting a boner in HIS shorts too. I could feel the hard meat. I could, at times, feel his testicles tighten up to the base of his penis shaft.

(In the totally private and in-denial world in my head, I would think, "Dude, it's happening to both of us. And it feels really good and really scared at the same time!")

You could not say a fucking thing to each other about it. It was like a 1980's Wrestler's Code. Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Not a word; THAT would have been perceived at that time as Un-masculine. HOW STUPID.

We were actually experiencing total masculinity in that wrestling room WITH our erections and aggression and didn't even know it. Society was misleading us so badly--If I could just re-live that terribly anxious time, how different my attitude would be. If I could just re-live that truly masculine time.

Men have ballsacks. And ballsacks are cool. And a male erection is a totally masculine thing. If masculinity and aggression makes you have an erection, THAT is masculine. Always has been.

Thank you NW.

NW says:

"If masculinity and aggression makes you have an erection, THAT is masculine. Always has been."

Right.

"Total Masculinity" is, to me, another way of saying Natural Masculinity.

It's Masculinity as it exists outside of heterosexualization and the lies of sexual orientation --

Masculinity as it exists anywhere and everywhere Men are Free to be Men.

Thank you NW.

You're a true Warrior.
